Tencent's Sustainable Social Value department has launched the WorkBuddy education edition, specifically designed for teachers across China. The program is open to educators regardless of their region or the academic level they teach.
Registered teachers receive 2,000 points monthly for a period of 12 consecutive months. Once the points are exhausted, users can continue accessing the platform using free models to ensure uninterrupted teaching workflows.
The platform features an AI teaching assistant developed in collaboration with institutions like Peking University and Beijing Normal University. It integrates over 100 educational experts covering areas such as curriculum design, student psychology, and school-home communication.
WorkBuddy includes five specialized tools for creative teaching, script-based learning, presentation creation, animation, and material processing. These tools generate content based on natural language prompts provided by the teachers.
Future updates will integrate Tencent Docs, knowledge bases, and collaboration tools into the platform. Teachers can apply for access via the Tencent SSV WeChat official account, with applications processed within three working days.
