President Donald Trump and leaders of major technology companies signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence. The voluntary agreement includes participants such as NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, OpenAI president Greg Brockman, and xAI CEO Elon Musk.
The pact establishes four layers of self-policing for AI development: internal monitoring, dedicated oversight teams, external assessments, and board committees. Companies are required to monitor risks, undergo independent evaluations, and maintain board-level oversight of powerful systems.
President Trump described the agreement as morally binding and expressed a preference for industry-led standards over formal regulation. He also advocated for the accelerated expansion of data centers. The event was marked by a public error on the signature page, which read 'President of the Unites States' instead of 'United States'.
