IT holding T1 has tested a hyperconverged infrastructure stack using Russian software and hardware. The solution integrates the MIND uStor storage system, Basis Dynamix Standard virtualization platform, and Basis Workplace VDI, all deployed on Yadro servers.

The architecture eliminates the need for separate storage area networks (SAN), potentially reducing total cost of ownership by 30–40%. The system utilizes Erasure Coding technology to manage disk space and ensure data availability without requiring expensive hardware RAID controllers.

During stress tests involving 16 virtual machines and 13 load profiles, including PostgreSQL and Redis, the system achieved up to 490,000 IOPS for random reads. Sequential write speeds reached 3 GB/s, while random read throughput hit 2.9 GB/s on standard SSDs.

Latency remained below 1 millisecond for database journaling operations and between 1–2 milliseconds for random read/write tasks. The infrastructure demonstrated automatic load redistribution during simulated server failures, with recovery times ranging from 10 to 30 seconds.
