Denis Vlasov, head of the external websites department at T1 Holding, has introduced a new communication framework called the Third protocol. The initiative aims to address the lack of clarity and feedback mechanisms in interactions between humans and large language models, as well as in professional team communications.

The author identified a recurring issue where users cannot verify if an LLM truly understands the context of a task or is merely simulating comprehension. Vlasov noted that similar communication gaps frequently occur in human interactions, such as during meetings or messenger exchanges, where participants often lack a clear understanding of the conversation's status.

The Third protocol is presented as an RFC-style framework designed to make dialogue spaces more transparent. It seeks to establish a structured mechanism for participants to signal their current position, confirm the processing of received information, and clarify expectations for subsequent steps in the interaction.
