T-Investments has launched an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that allows AI agents to interact with its brokerage platform. This protocol acts as a standardized interface between LLMs and brokerage APIs, enabling agents to analyze portfolios, check market data, and execute trades using natural language commands.
The MCP server provides tools for account management, real-time market data, order execution, and financial analytics. Users can connect to either the production environment or a sandbox for risk-free testing. To use the service, clients must provide an API token from T-Investments and ensure that Russian Ministry of Digital Development certificates are installed in their environment.
The platform supports various automation scenarios, ranging from simple information assistants to autonomous trading robots. Developers can implement these solutions using tools like Hermes Agent for Telegram integration or n8n for workflow automation. The system requires Docker and specific tokens for Google AI Studio, Telegram, and T-Investments.
The developer emphasizes security practices, including the use of read-only tokens for informational tasks, storing credentials in environment variables, and implementing user allow-lists. The MCP standard, originally introduced by Anthropic in late 2024, facilitates integration by allowing a single server to connect with multiple compatible clients.
