MegaFon analysts report a 28% increase in streaming video traffic in the Ryazan region compared to the previous year. Data shows that weekend consumption of streaming content is 13% higher than on weekdays. The peak traffic volume for 2026 was recorded on March 14, which was double the average daily level.
Data from the MegaKino service identifies men aged 30 to 40 as the most active streaming audience in the Ryazan region. Ryazan residents currently lead in streaming activity across the Central Federal District, followed by users in Tver, Kaluga, and Yaroslavl.
Media trends significantly influence user behavior. In July, traffic to websites dedicated to ancient Greek myths increased by more than four times, with user numbers rising by 46% following the release of Christopher Nolan's film Odyssey. Similarly, interest in Spider-Man comics surged before the unofficial film release, with site traffic growing by 38% and the official film website seeing a sevenfold increase in users.
