Stellantis has unveiled its new BOW concept vehicle, an all-electric autonomous delivery platform designed without a driver cabin, windshield, or dashboard. The name stands for Box On Wheels, reflecting its functional design as a mobile storage unit for logistics.

The vehicle was developed in partnership with UQI Robotics and debuted at the IAA Transportation trade show in Hannover, Germany. Stellantis conducted live demonstrations of the unit outside the exhibition area to showcase its potential for urban logistics and controlled environments.

The concept aims to optimize cargo space by removing human-centric controls and comfort features required in traditional vans. The company intends to test the platform in closed environments such as factories, hospitals, and airports, as well as in low-emission urban zones.

Stellantis has not disclosed technical specifications, including battery capacity, range, payload, motor power, or autonomous driving levels. There is no information regarding pricing, production timelines, or specific pilot partners for the project.

Initial validation testing for the BOW platform is scheduled to take place in Europe. The company currently classifies the project as a concept and has not provided a roadmap for public road deployment or future commercialization.
