SpaceX has secured a new contract for its AI data center capacity, adding $13.3 billion in annual revenue. According to CFO Bret Johnson, the company's total yearly income from such agreements has reached $41.1 billion. The new deal, which remains confidential, will generate $1.11 billion per month starting in December 2026.
This agreement marks the fourth major AI compute contract for SpaceX in 2026. Previous deals include monthly rentals with Anthropic for $1.25 billion, Google Cloud for $920 million, and Reflection AI for $150 million. Additionally, the company is in talks with the U.S. Department of Defense regarding a multi-billion dollar contract.
As of June 30, 2026, SpaceX operated 1.4 GW of data center capacity. The company plans to exceed 2 GW by the end of 2026 and reach approximately 10 GW by the end of 2027. Infrastructure includes the Colossus 1 and Colossus 2 facilities, with a third under construction in Southaven and a fourth in development near Memphis.
Originally built by xAI to train the Grok LLM, the data center infrastructure has evolved into a significant revenue stream. Following the Anthropic deal, Elon Musk confirmed that SpaceX is actively seeking new clients to utilize its expanding computing resources.
