SoundCloud has launched a new integration with the AI music platform ElevenLabs. Users can now publish tracks directly from ElevenLabs to their SoundCloud profiles without the need to manually download and re-upload files.
To support this partnership, SoundCloud is offering its Artist Pro subscribers a three-month free trial of the ElevenMusic Pro service. This initiative aims to encourage creators to experiment with generative AI tools within their music production workflow.
The platform has implemented a transparency policy for AI-generated content. All tracks uploaded through this integration will be automatically labeled to indicate their AI origin, distinguishing them from traditional recordings.
This move follows a previous collaboration with the AI platform Moises, which allows users to perform stem separation and remixing on tracks. SoundCloud continues to integrate various AI tools while maintaining rules against impersonation and encouraging users to disclose AI usage.
