Sony has officially announced a delay in the release of its Pulse Elevate wireless speaker due to identified production issues. The company stated that the decision follows ongoing quality testing, which necessitated more time to refine the product and ensure it meets performance expectations.
The device was originally scheduled for launch on November 12. While the company has not provided a new release date, the product remains listed for pre-order on platforms like JD.com. The speaker is priced at ¥1,748 or $219.99.
Designed for use with PS5, PC, and Mac, the Pulse Elevate features dual speakers with planar magnetic drivers and built-in woofers. The hardware is engineered to deliver a wide frequency response and deep bass, incorporating studio-inspired audio technology.
The speaker supports Tempest 3D AudioTech for immersive gaming on the PS5 console. Additionally, it includes an AI-powered noise-canceling microphone to enhance voice clarity during communication, catering to users who require high-quality audio input.
