The Oslo-based startup Solvera has secured $6.3 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Seedcamp, with contributions from Construct Venture, Inception Fund, Momentum, Obos Ventures, PSV Tech, Sondo, and The Nordic Web Ventures. Several angel investors, including Spacemaker founders Anders Kvåle and Håvard Haukeland, also participated in the round.
Founded by Arif Mirza, Pål Rasmussen, and Thorvald Thorsnes, the company operates as an AI-native engineering firm for the construction sector. Instead of selling software licenses or hourly consulting, Solvera provides end-to-end engineering services. Its proprietary operating system utilizes AI agents to automate tasks, while human engineers oversee final decisions and project requirements.
The firm currently focuses on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering, managing projects in Norway such as commercial developments with the contractor Betonmast. The newly raised capital will be used to grow the engineering and technology team in Oslo, open a new office in London, and further develop the company's internal operating system as it prepares for future market expansion.
