Solana has introduced the BP Badge, a programmable hardware development kit for attendees of the Breakpoint 2026 conference. The device allows users to build and install custom applications, complete event-based quests, trade digital cards, and earn rewards through an in-game currency called !LAMPs.

The hardware is based on the ESP32-C5 platform with a RISC-V chip clocked at 240 MHz. It includes 16 MB of flash storage, a 320×240 color TFT screen, and a 1000 mAh LiPo battery with USB-C charging. Connectivity options feature Wi-Fi 6, BLE 5, and an 802.15.4 radio, all running on a custom firmware dubbed Solana OS.

Breakpoint 2026 is scheduled for November 15–17 at the Olympia Convention Centre in London, marking the first time the event is held in Europe. Solana has released technical specifications and flashing instructions for developers to begin working with the hardware ahead of the conference.

Ticket pricing for the event is divided into three categories: general admission is $550, developer passes are $250, and student tickets are $100. While the badge features gamification elements, there are currently no specific cryptocurrency tokens directly integrated into the device or its game mechanics.
