Solana has reclaimed the top spot in weekly spot trading volume for tokenized equities, surpassing Robinhood Chain for the first time in six weeks. This shift follows a period where Robinhood held a 39% market share compared to Solana's 35% by mid-September 2026.
Robinhood Chain launched on July 1, 2026, and initially saw daily trading volumes average around $29.7 million. In contrast, Solana maintained a dominant position during Q2 2026, capturing 95% to 97% of on-chain tokenized equity volume, totaling approximately $5.8 billion.
By mid-September 2026, the supply of tokenized equities on Solana reached $684 million, distributed among hundreds of thousands of holders. Additionally, Solana has recently outperformed Robinhood Chain in tokenized commodities, recording $91.1 million in volume versus $81.3 million during the week of September 21 to 27.
Data indicates that 63% of Solana’s tokenized equity trades occur outside of standard US market hours. This round-the-clock accessibility highlights a specific demand segment that traditional exchanges do not currently address.
