By October 22, 2026, the Solana network processed $5 trillion in stablecoin volume. This figure represents the total value of tokens exchanged on the blockchain throughout the year.
In September 2026, Solana reached a record stablecoin supply of $17.51 billion and recorded 557 million transfers, the highest among tracked chains. While the network holds about 5% of the global stablecoin supply, it captured 32–36% of adjusted global transfer volume during peak months.
The Solana Foundation noted that payment firms, including Western Union, are currently exploring or expanding their use of stablecoin technology on the network. Additionally, Samsung plans to integrate USDC transfers into its Galaxy wallet, potentially reaching 82 million devices in the US.
The network is preparing to activate the Alpenglow upgrade, which aims to reduce transaction finality to approximately 150 milliseconds. Analysts note that transfer volume metrics can be influenced by automated trading and arbitrage bots, and that current corporate integrations remain in the planning or pilot stages.
