The Smartec brand has expanded its product line with the STC-IPM5508A Estima IP camera. The device features a 5 MP Sony IMX335 sensor and is housed in an anti-vandal casing rated IK10 and IP67, allowing it to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to +60 degrees Celsius.
The camera supports three-stream video transmission using H.265, H.264, and MJPEG codecs with a maximum frame rate of 30 fps at a resolution of 2592x1944 pixels. It includes a built-in microphone, an integrated junction box for cable protection, and a flat impact-resistant glass window to prevent image distortion.
For low-light conditions, the device uses a Smart IR II illuminator with a range of up to 25 meters and can produce color images at illumination levels as low as 0.008 lux. Hardware-level WDR (120 dB) and 2D/3D DNR filters are used to manage high-contrast scenes and noise reduction.
The unit supports 12V DC or PoE power, consuming no more than 5.8 watts. It includes motion and tampering detectors that trigger alerts via FTP, email, HTTP, or SIP. The camera is currently available for order through ARMO-Systems.
