Russian telecommunications manufacturer Eltex has launched the ESR-15R-4G service router into mass production. The device features two integrated 4G modems, allowing for automatic channel redundancy and connectivity in locations where wired infrastructure is unavailable or costly.

The router utilizes MultiWAN technology to monitor connection quality and availability. It can automatically switch traffic to a backup channel if the primary connection fails or fails to meet performance requirements. The manufacturer recommends using SIM cards from different operators to minimize the risk of simultaneous outages.

The device is available in two versions based on modem category. The Cat.12 model supports data transfer speeds of up to 600 Mbps for downloads and 100 Mbps for uploads. The Cat.4 version offers maximum speeds of 150 Mbps and 50 Mbps, respectively.

The ESR-15R-4G supports standard routing protocols including OSPFv2/v3, IS-IS, and BGP, as well as MPLS L2/L3VPN and IPsec technologies. It can function as a Spoke in DMVPN networks and includes NAT and HQoS for traffic management.

The hardware is designed for multiple mounting options, including 19-inch racks, DIN-rail mounting, or desktop placement. Configuration is managed via a web interface, and Eltex currently offers the device for free testing by corporate clients.
