Skoda has launched a new initiative allowing vehicle owners to download and 3D-print various interior accessories at home. The collection, hosted on Printables.com, includes items such as cupholders, storage boxes, cable organizers, phone brackets, and hooks for seat-back pockets.

The project aims to enhance vehicle practicality without requiring additional purchases from dealerships. These accessories are designed to fit into existing storage compartments without needing modifications to the car, and the files can be adapted by users to meet specific needs.

The initiative covers both current and discontinued models, including specific solutions for the Epiq and Peaq electric SUVs. These include specialized inserts, console organizers, and tray systems, with the Peaq model featuring a unique clip-on cupholder for its folding table.

Developed by the automaker's innovation incubator, the project eliminates traditional tooling, inventory, and production lead times. Skoda claims to be the first manufacturer to offer such a collection through a dedicated platform, with future designs influenced by customer feedback.
