Sitronics KT, a subsidiary of Sitronics Group, has delivered a hardware and software complex featuring its proprietary Shkiper electronic charting system to the Yeniseyrechtrans administration. The solution is designed to assist vessel operators with navigation tasks.
The Shkiper system supports the management of S-57 and S-63 format electronic navigational charts. It enables real-time monitoring of navigational conditions, precise positioning, and route planning. The complex is available as a turnkey solution, pre-installed on either rugged tablets or specialized computers.
The software integrates with GNSS satellite receivers, AIS systems, echo sounders, and speed logs. According to CEO Evgeny Shishenin, the system is currently deployed on dozens of vessels across major Russian water basins, with the recent delivery marking its expansion into the Yenisey region.
Shkiper is officially registered in the Russian Ministry of Digital Development software registry. It also holds an approval certificate from the Russian Classification Society, confirming its compliance with industry standards for operational reliability in maritime navigation.
