Italian startup SimpL has secured €1.2 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Techshop Capital, with additional backing from Vento Ventures and several business angels. The company, based in Milan, plans to use the capital to advance product development, enhance its proprietary technology, and expand its team.
Founded by Nicolò Fugallo, Raffaele Scarano, and Luca Marco Agnoli, SimpL develops an AI-driven operating system for B2B sales. The platform analyzes public data—such as job postings and company news—to identify potential leads. It uses a proprietary knowledge graph and deep learning models to determine the optimal timing and approach for contacting decision-makers.
The system integrates with existing tools like CRM, email, and calendars to manage outreach. Unlike traditional software, SimpL operates on a results-based model where clients pay only for qualified meetings that occur, rather than subscription fees. The startup also operates SimpL House in Milan, a hub designed to integrate research, product development, and business operations.
