The Signaltek company has announced that its Signal Stack RS-5101 and RS-5401 rack servers have been officially included in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade's register of industrial products. This status confirms the domestic origin of the equipment and allows for its broader implementation in projects requiring strict localization standards.
The RS-5101 model is a 1U rack server designed for data storage, multi-threaded processing, and cloud computing tasks, specifically targeting sectors like telecommunications and government where high equipment density is required. The 4U RS-5401 model features a disk subsystem capable of housing 36 LFF drives, making it suitable for high-capacity storage systems.
Both server models support the installation of two Intel Xeon Scalable processors of the fourth or fifth generation. According to Dmitry Abragin, Commercial Director at Signaltek, the company has observed an increase in inquiries from organizations looking to upgrade their data infrastructure following the departure of several international hardware vendors.
In response to the growing market demand for domestic hardware alternatives, Signaltek has announced plans to scale up its server production capabilities.
