Vidu, the flagship video generation model from Shengshu Technology, has entered its Q4 Preview phase. The updated system introduces support for high-resolution outputs, including 2K and 4K, with 10-bit color depth. Users can now generate video clips lasting up to 16 seconds in a single pass.
The model offers enhanced capabilities for image-to-video and reference-to-video generation. It allows for the integration of up to 15 reference images to maintain consistency across characters, props, and scenes. Additionally, users can incorporate up to 3 reference audio tracks to ensure unified character voice profiles.
Shengshu Technology has improved the model's handling of complex camera movements, including dynamic pans and cuts. These features are designed for applications in advertising, social media content, and film production. The tool supports various resolutions ranging from 540P to 4K.
The company has launched the preview with an introductory price starting at ¥0.09 per second. This pricing structure is intended to allow creators to test multiple scripts and camera angles at a lower cost before finalizing high-quality 2K or 4K productions.
