Maxim Khisamutdinov, a senior researcher at the Research Institute of Multiprocessor Computing Systems of SFedU, has developed a specialized chromospheric telescope and a software suite for solar imaging. The system captures detailed views of the Sun's outer atmosphere, including prominences at the edge of the solar disk.

The hardware configuration features two synchronized Fabry-Perot etalons, a set of filters, and a high-speed camera. This setup isolates plasma structures within the chromosphere, providing high-resolution imagery previously accessible only to major solar observatories.

The accompanying software automates the stabilization, normalization, and cleaning of image sequences containing thousands of frames. This eliminates the need for manual data processing, allowing for the efficient generation of high-quality solar photographs.
