Securitize, a firm specializing in real-world asset tokenization, went public on the New York Stock Exchange on July 2, 2026, following a SPAC merger with Cantor Equity Partners II. The transaction valued the company at approximately $1.25 billion. Following the listing, the firm tokenized a portion of its own common shares valued between $266 million and $295 million on the Avalanche and Solana networks.
The company reported that its tokenized assets under management surpassed $5 billion in the third quarter of 2026, increasing from over $4 billion earlier that year. Key institutional clients utilizing the firm's infrastructure include BlackRock, which manages the BUIDL fund, and Apollo. The platform currently supports operations on the Avalanche, Solana, and Ethereum blockchains.
Securitize maintains licenses for issuance, brokerage, settlement, and transfer agency within US and EU regulatory frameworks. In November 2025, the firm secured authorization under the EU DLT Pilot Regime to develop a tokenized trading and settlement system. CEO Carlos Domingo stated that the future of the industry relies on attracting traditional finance participants rather than relying solely on crypto-native users.
During the Avalanche Summit in New York, discussions focused on the necessity of increasing secondary market liquidity to improve price discovery and attract institutional adopters. Industry representatives from organizations such as Franklin Templeton, Grayscale, and Aave participated in the event to address advancements in on-chain settlement infrastructure.
