Sberbank has updated its GitVerse agent pipeline, introducing approximately 20 new features designed to automate software development cycles using AI. The tool is now available in a cloud-based version for individual developers and small teams through an early access program, whereas previously it was limited to on-premise deployments for large enterprises.

The updated platform supports the Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model, requiring only an API key from a chosen LLM provider to initiate sessions. Users can now select specific large language models for particular tasks and interact with agents through a chat interface or CI/CD workflows, enabling autonomous code generation, debugging, and end-to-end testing.

New interactive features allow developers to view file structures, upload documents, and provide images for UI prototyping. The system also includes enhanced project management capabilities within the tracker, such as public APIs for tasks, customizable boards, milestone tracking, bulk operations, and improved file handling in comments.

According to Andrey Belevtsev, Senior Vice President at Sberbank, the goal of these updates is to provide a unified set of development tools for both startups and large corporations. The integration aims to increase development speed and product quality by allowing users to assign tasks directly to AI agents within the GitVerse environment.
