Sberbank has launched an AI-powered voice assistant called 'Spravochnaya na 900' accessible via its 900 hotline. The service utilizes the bank's proprietary speech neural networks and operates without an internet connection, allowing users to make inquiries directly via phone calls.
The assistant is available to both Sberbank clients and the general public. Users can access specialized modes such as 'Arthur,' a virtual tour guide for history and culture, or 'SberKot,' a character designed for children that assists with school subjects, games, and storytelling.
The service supports multiple languages, including Russian, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, and Tajik. Users initiate the connection in Russian and can switch to one of the supported foreign languages during the conversation.
During the pilot phase, which ran from April 29 to August 31, 2026, the service handled several thousand dialogues. The average call duration was two minutes. Data shows that 20% of users requested contact information for organizations, 10% asked for general information, and 3% requested jokes.
