Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of MicroStrategy, attributes recent Bitcoin price weakness to restrictive trade policies, rising yields, and significant capital allocation toward artificial intelligence. According to Saylor, the AI sector currently absorbs approximately $1 trillion from investors, creating competition for capital.

Data from BeInCrypto indicates Bitcoin is trading near $82,400, which is roughly 35% below its October 2025 peak of $126,080. Saylor noted that yield curves have increased by 100 basis points, or one percentage point, over the past year, impacting market sentiment.

Despite current challenges, Saylor maintains a bullish outlook, citing the potential for bank adoption. He expects financial institutions to begin providing Bitcoin custody services within the next 12 to 24 months, which could facilitate the creation of credit networks.

Market analysts remain divided on the asset's trajectory. Mike McGlone of Bloomberg Intelligence suggests a potential decline toward $10,000 if equities drop by 20%. Conversely, Ki Young Ju of CryptoQuant highlights that spot ETFs have absorbed $58 billion, suggesting a price floor near $30,000.
