SanDisk and Meta have entered a partnership to produce storage accessories under the Made For Meta brand. The upcoming product line will feature microSD Express cards and USB-C flash drives specifically designed for Meta Quest and Meta VR Glasses headsets.
The new storage devices are scheduled for release in the spring of 2027, coinciding with the launch of the Meta VR Glasses. SanDisk has not yet disclosed technical specifications, storage capacities, or pricing details for these accessories.
Reports indicate that the Meta VR Glasses will feature 128 GB of internal storage and a dedicated microSD slot. This would mark the first time a Meta VR device includes expandable storage, allowing users to increase capacity without purchasing higher-tier models.
