A new flagship smartphone from a major manufacturer is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8EE6 processor, identified by the model number SM8975. The device is currently scheduled for a release between March and April 2027.
The handset will be equipped with a 6.85-inch BOE 2K+ 144Hz LTPO display. The screen design features LIPO technology with uniform bezels and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for authentication.
Industry reports suggest this model is the vivo X500 Ultra. Huang Tao, Vice President of Product at vivo, previously confirmed that the X500 Ultra series will continue with a new iteration focused on professional imaging capabilities.
The device is positioned to target professional creators and early adopters. Despite speculation regarding high-resolution sensors, the manufacturer has not confirmed the inclusion of a 200-megapixel camera system.
