Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A18 4G smartphone, which is now listed on the company's websites in France, Norway, and Sweden. The device is powered by the unannounced Samsung Exynos 1610 processor, replacing the MediaTek Helio G99 found in the previous model.

The battery capacity is 5000 mAh with 25 W charging support and a lifespan of 1200 cycles. The device is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance, an upgrade from the IP54 rating of the Galaxy A17. The phone measures 7.7 mm in thickness and weighs 196 grams.

Running on Android 17 with the One UI 9 interface, the smartphone will receive six years of software and security updates. In France, the 4/128 GB model is priced at €280, with sales scheduled to begin on September 18. For comparison, the Galaxy A17 4G launched at €200.
