Internal testing by Samsung indicates that the upcoming Exynos 2700 processor outperforms the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. In Geekbench 6.5 multi-core tests, the Exynos 2700 reached approximately 13,000 points, while the Snapdragon chip in the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max scored around 11,000 points. The Samsung SoC also shows a 15% lead in Geekbench 7.
Compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in the Xiaomi 18 Pro, the Exynos 2700 demonstrates a 44% advantage in Geekbench 6.5 and 36% in Geekbench 7. Graphics performance shows a 20% lead in peak scenarios, though this margin narrows to 5% in heavy 3D gaming tests. The chip features a ten-core architecture with two high-performance cores and a 4.24 GHz clock speed.
The Exynos 2700 includes the Xclipse 970 GPU, 24 MB of system cache, and support for LPDDR6 memory. Samsung has initiated production using its 2nm SF2P process, with initial output volume 10% higher than the previous generation. The company is also implementing a new Heat Path Block packaging design to improve thermal management.
Samsung reportedly intends to integrate the Exynos 2700 across its entire upcoming flagship lineup, including the Galaxy S27 Ultra. This shift suggests a potential reduction in the company's reliance on Qualcomm platforms for its high-end mobile devices.
