Xiaomi has officially announced the upcoming launch of its Redmi Book 2027 laptop series, scheduled for October 27. The new lineup is built on the third-generation Intel Core platform and features a 72Wh battery, with a design focus on mobile productivity.
The 16-inch model will introduce a dedicated numeric keypad, a feature requested by users. Internally, the laptop will be powered by the Core 5 320 processor. Notably, the device moves away from soldered memory, offering users the ability to replace DDR5 RAM modules independently.
The 14-inch variant will feature a 2.8K resolution display and a comprehensive set of ports, including two USB-A, two USB-C, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 16-inch version will receive a thermal upgrade consisting of dual fans and a 10mm heat pipe.
Across the entire series, Xiaomi is integrating the Super Xiaoai 2.0 assistant, which supports cross-device collaboration and AI-driven office tools. For context, the previous 2026 model started at ¥6499, with promotional pricing reaching as low as ¥4800.
