Samsung has released an official list of nearly 40 Galaxy smartphones and tablets slated to receive the One UI 9.0 update based on Android 17. The Japanese division of the company confirmed that the rollout for these devices in Japan is scheduled for October and November 2026.
The initial distribution of the final One UI 9.0 build began in September 2026, starting with the Galaxy S26 series. The company notes that the current list is not exhaustive, as it excludes certain regional variants, specific Plus-branded flagships, and various Galaxy A series models.
The list includes several flagship and mid-range devices, such as the Galaxy S26, S25, and S24 series, along with the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip models from generations 5 through 7. Tablet support covers the Tab S11, S10, S9, and A11 series, as well as the Tab Active 5 Pro.
While the update process for the Japanese market is expected to conclude by the end of November 2026, global availability will likely follow a different timeline. Samsung anticipates that budget-friendly models and devices in other regions may receive the update in December 2026 or January 2027.
