Salesforce hosted its annual Dreamforce conference in San Francisco, featuring appearances by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. The event highlighted the company's expansion of its AI platform and strategic partnerships.
The company introduced Koa, a reasoning model built on Nvidia’s Nemotron open-weights platform. Koa is designed for customer relationship management workflows and was trained on synthetic data derived from nearly 30 years of internal CRM experience to avoid using direct customer information.
Salesforce launched AIforce, a new AI interface layer that includes Claudeforce, which integrates Anthropic’s Claude model with 37 prebuilt skills for sales management. CEO Marc Benioff confirmed that customer data used with these tools will not be used to train models.
During the event, executives discussed AI safety and oversight. Sam Altman addressed concerns regarding model security and responsible development, while Dario Amodei reiterated his call for industry-wide standards. Marc Benioff emphasized the need for accountability in AI development.
