SAIC Audi currently continues to sell three internal combustion engine models featuring the four-ring logo: the Q6, A7L, and A5L Sportback. These vehicles have not been discontinued, and the company has committed to providing lifetime after-sales support for all four-ring models sold to date.
While SAIC Audi will continue to support its existing four-ring inventory, it will not sell new four-ring branded products in the future. Discussions are underway regarding the transition of the A5L Sportback sales to FAW-Audi, although a final timeline for this transfer has not yet been established.
The two partners are currently negotiating the integration of after-sales services, including the transfer of user data and specific spare parts information for the A5L Sportback into the FAW-Audi system. Customers will eventually have the option to choose between service providers.
According to the official agreement, SAIC Audi is authorized to continue selling four-ring products until the end of 2027. Moving forward, the partnership between Audi and SAIC will focus on the development of the new AUDI brand, which utilizes a letter-based logo for intelligent connected electric vehicles.
