Rutube has launched a closed beta test for a new AI assistant integrated into the Rutube Studio platform. The tool is designed to support content creators by automating routine tasks related to video production, channel management, and audience engagement. The project is being developed by the digital assets division of Gazprom-Media Holding.
During the pilot phase, the AI assistant can generate five video ideas based on a channel's theme and create a content plan. Before a video is published, the system analyzes the content to suggest titles, write descriptions, generate timecodes, and recommend visual designs for thumbnails. It also evaluates previously uploaded videos.
The assistant includes advanced analytics features, such as monitoring channel statistics, analyzing viewer comments, and tracking current trends. It also provides tools for adapting long-form videos into short-form content and offers competitive analysis. These features aim to help both beginners and professional creators.
According to Sergey Kosinsky, Deputy CEO and head of digital assets at Gazprom-Media Holding, the tool is a key business development strategy. By reducing the time spent on routine tasks, the platform expects to increase the volume and frequency of content, which in turn boosts user engagement, watch time, and monetization opportunities.
