A survey conducted by National Lottery involving 1,500 respondents reveals that 40.1% of Russians are willing to consider AI recommendations when selecting lottery numbers. While 13.6% would fully delegate the choice to AI, 34% prefer to review suggestions before making a final decision themselves.

Participants show varying levels of trust regarding AI functions in lotteries. Specifically, 45.4% are open to using AI for analyzing past draws, 42.5% for selecting numbers, 27.2% for choosing a lottery type, and 20.6% for receiving check-up reminders. Only 12.5% would trust AI with financial decisions regarding ticket spending.

The primary motivation for using AI is curiosity about new gaming methods, cited by 43.3% of respondents. Other factors include the ability to process large datasets (38.4%) and the potential to identify patterns invisible to humans (31.6%). Notably, 19% of participants reported previous wins using AI-assisted strategies.

In a scenario where AI suggests a different set of numbers than the user's initial choice, 40.2% would purchase both options, while 20.7% would switch entirely to the AI's suggestion. Roughly 67.8% of those surveyed have interacted with AI technology previously, though general trust in technology as a standalone reason for its use was cited by only 6.2%.
