The Russian federal budget for 2027–2029 includes funding for the development of the Il-114 aircraft. The United Aircraft Corporation, part of Rostec, is set to receive 4.09 ₽ billion for this project. The allocation is split into 2.5 ₽ billion for 2027, followed by 799 ₽ million in 2028 and another 799 ₽ million in 2029.
The budget also covers subsidies for interest payments on loans for MS-21 aircraft manufacturers, totaling nearly 6 ₽ billion over the three-year period. Additionally, the United Engine Corporation will receive 2.2 ₽ billion to support the development of the TV7-117 engine, which is utilized in the upgraded Il-114-300 and the upcoming Ladoga regional aircraft.
The Il-114-300 is a turboprop regional passenger plane designed to carry up to 68 passengers. It is intended to replace aging An-24 models and foreign aircraft on domestic routes. The Ladoga aircraft, which also uses a version of the TV7-117 engine, is designed to accommodate 44 passengers.
