NTC IT ROSA has released ROSA Fresh 13.3, which now runs on the Linux 6.18 kernel with long-term support. The update improves compatibility with modern laptops, graphics cards, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth adapters, and network hardware. The linux-firmware package size has been reduced by approximately 450 MB.

The OS introduces a closed software environment mode based on IMA, allowing administrators to restrict the execution of unsigned binaries. All executables and libraries in the distribution are now digitally signed. Additionally, the system includes new graphical tools for managing Active Directory, FreeIPA, and Dynamic Directory domains.

System updates are now supported via an offline installation feature in the Svetofor utility, where packages download during operation and install upon reboot. For Btrfs users, the btrfs-snapshot-gui tool is pre-installed, allowing for easier creation and restoration of system snapshots.

The KDE desktop environment has been updated to version 6.6, while LibreOffice is now at version 26.2.4 with improved Microsoft Office compatibility. Other updates include Chromium 153 with GOST encryption support, Firefox with integrated Ministry of Digital Development certificates, and updated server components like PostgreSQL 18 and Docker 29.7.2.
