Copenhagen-based fashiontech startup Rodinia Generation has secured €4 million in a funding round led by Vitamin°C. Existing investors Climentum Capital and EIFO also participated in the round. This investment follows a previous €3 million raise reported in 2024.

Founded in 2017 by CEO Trine Young, the company operates a pilot O-Factory in Copenhagen, which has been producing garments since 2021. The facility currently manufactures collections for brands including Henrik Vibskov and Klaus Samsøe. The new capital will support the opening of an industrial-scale O-factory in Portugal.

The company's production system utilizes proprietary software and machinery to automate garment manufacturing. This technology allows brands to produce various styles with shorter production runs and improved unit economics. Rodinia aims to establish a global network of O-factories located near major fashion markets.

Rodinia claims its production process eliminates water usage and reduces CO2e emissions by approximately 40% per garment. The company estimates that if its factories produced half the annual volume of a large fast-fashion brand, it would save 100 billion litres of water and one million tonnes of CO2e annually.
