Robotics Corporation has acquired a 51% stake in the Fotomekhanika group. This deal integrates several companies from the group into a unified production and R&D framework, allowing the parent corporation to expand its product portfolio by over 30 equipment models.
Fotomekhanika has operated for over 15 years and employs more than 200 people. Its 3,500-square-meter facility in Saint Petersburg houses production, a warehouse, and a development center. The company has completed over 100 automation projects for retail, logistics, and airports.
The acquisition provides Fotomekhanika with access to the corporation's service infrastructure and industrial client base. The new division will focus on developing conveyor, sorting, and robotic systems, as well as proprietary management software.
Alexander Alekseev, CEO of Robotics Corporation, stated that the goal is to make Fotomekhanika a leader in warehouse automation across Russia and the CIS within one year. The company will retain its existing team, product line, and Saint Petersburg facility.
