UK-based charging provider Roam Charging has launched a new incentive program for customers looking to upgrade their existing electric vehicle infrastructure. The company offers cash payments to organizations that sign long-term lease or site agreements for replacing older, faulty, or non-compliant charging hardware.

Under the terms of the offer, participants can receive £500 for replacing a single-socket charger and £1,000 for a dual-socket unit. Roam Charging covers the full cost of the new equipment and standard installation work, while also managing the recycling of the removed hardware as electronic waste.

The new infrastructure provided by Roam is fully managed and compliant with OCPP standards. The company takes full responsibility for ongoing system monitoring, maintenance, and user support, aiming to replace outdated equipment with more reliable technology across various business and destination sites.
