RAW Charging has launched a new ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging hub on Palmerston Road in Aberdeen, Scotland. The facility, which began operations on October 5, features 14 charging bays in total. This includes ten 150 kW chargers and four 300 kW units, with two spaces designated as priority bays.
The project was developed in collaboration with infrastructure firm Hubber. The site is accessible 24 hours a day and supports payments via contactless bank cards or compatible mobile applications. The company intends to serve both local residents without off-street parking and drivers passing through the city.
This installation is part of a broader expansion for RAW Charging, which now operates more than 500 sites across the United Kingdom. A recent project by the company includes a 20-bay hub at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland. Hubber, founded in 2024 by former Tesla UK Supercharger team members, specializes in urban high-powered charging infrastructure.
