A Rivian commercial electric van featuring Walmart+ branding was spotted on a car hauler in Indiana. A second vehicle with the same livery was observed parked at a Walmart Supercenter in Hammond, Indiana.
Walmart previously attempted to electrify its delivery fleet through agreements with Canoo and GM's BrightDrop. Both suppliers subsequently ceased production of their electric van models.
Rivian opened commercial van sales to all businesses in February 2025, with the RCV 500 starting at $79,900 and the RCV 700 at $83,900. The company's exclusivity deal with Amazon concluded in November 2023.
Following the sighting, Rivian stock rose by more than 3%. The company is scheduled to report its Q3 2026 financial results on October 29, 2026.
