Renesas Electronics has released its financial forecast for the 2026 fiscal year, which runs from January 1 to December 31, 2026. The company projects non-GAAP revenue to reach between ¥1.66 trillion and ¥1.67 trillion, representing a year-on-year growth of 25.8% to 27.0%.
The company expects a non-GAAP gross margin of 58.6%, an increase from the 57.6% recorded in the previous year. The non-GAAP operating margin is forecast at 33.2%, up 3.9 percentage points from the 29.3% achieved in the prior fiscal period.
This growth forecast is supported by strong demand in the automotive, industrial, and AI infrastructure sectors. The company noted that the revenue projection exceeds previous market analyst expectations, reflecting improvements in product mix and capacity utilization.
The financial outlook is based on exchange rate assumptions of ¥158 per $1 and ¥183 per €1. Renesas emphasized that these figures are subject to potential risks, including macroeconomic fluctuations, market competition, and changes in demand.
