The RecompLauncher platform has launched as a centralized catalog for fan-made PC ports of console games. Developed by the team behind the RecompStore for jailbroken PS5 consoles, the service currently lists 192 community-driven recompilation projects.

These projects primarily focus on static recompilation, which converts console game code into native PC programs rather than relying on hardware emulation. The catalog includes titles from various Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox generations, such as Zelda 64, God of War III, and Skate 3.

Users can filter the catalog based on compatibility with Windows, macOS, and Linux. While the website is active, the launcher application itself is not yet available for download, though it is expected to arrive soon for Windows systems.

The planned software aims to automate the installation and updating of game ports by pulling data directly from developer GitHub repositories. Users will need to provide their own disc images or ROMs, as the platform does not host game files.

The tool will also support cross-platform configuration, allowing users to set up games on PC and transfer them to the RecompStore on a PS5. Similar management solutions, such as Quiver Launcher, already exist in the market.
