A rare VAZ-1922 Marsh, an extreme modification of the Lada Niva, is currently listed for sale in Germany. The vehicle, manufactured in 2002, has undergone a comprehensive restoration process and shows only 1,000 km on its odometer. The seller has set the asking price at €20,000.
The vehicle features oversized low-pressure tires designed for navigating swamps and deep snow. To accommodate these, the body includes expanded wheel arches. The chassis incorporates modified axles and a leaf-spring suspension sourced from the UAZ-469. Additional exterior modifications include front and rear protective bars, rectangular headlights, and updated taillights.
The Marsh is powered by a standard 1.7-liter gasoline engine producing 79 hp, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. While the interior retains the standard Niva layout, it is equipped with aftermarket seats featuring enhanced lateral support. The model was produced in a limited series of fewer than 1,000 units.
