Qualcomm is preparing to launch two new flagship mobile platforms based on a 2nm process. The lineup includes the SM8950, known as the Snapdragon 8E6, and the SM8975, designated as the Snapdragon 8EE6.

The SM8975 is positioned as the most powerful SoC in the series, featuring a peak clock speed exceeding 5GHz. In contrast, the SM8950 is expected to utilize a new core architecture, which industry observers suggest may become a highly efficient solution.

According to reports, Xiaomi has secured a six-month exclusivity period for the SM8950 chip. Qualcomm plans to officially unveil these new processors at the upcoming Snapdragon Summit, scheduled for September 22–24 in Hawaii.
