Project Eleven and Relm Insurance have launched a partnership to evaluate whether post-quantum security controls can influence digital asset insurance underwriting. The assessment focuses on the Strongpoint custody platform, which supports hybrid signing using both classical and post-quantum methods.
Relm Insurance will analyze risk factors including key exposure, signing systems, transaction approvals, third-party dependencies, and migration readiness. The platform is scheduled for production deployment in Q4 2026, and the evaluation is currently underway.
Project Eleven, founded in 2024 by Alex Pruden and Conor Deegan, raised $20 million in a Series A round in January 2026 at a valuation of $120 million. The company previously collaborated with Solana and the XRP Ledger on quantum security initiatives.
As of September 2026, Project Eleven identified over 8 million BTC in addresses potentially vulnerable to quantum attacks. While the firm suggests that stronger quantum defenses could theoretically lower insurance premiums, Relm has not committed to specific rate changes.
