According to hardware leaker Kepler_L2, the next generation of gaming GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD may be delayed until 2028. This potential shift suggests that the full-stack refresh for both companies will not occur until that year.

NVIDIA is expected to release its GeForce RTX 60-Series, codenamed Rubin, in 2028. Similarly, the AMD RDNA 5-based Radeon RX 10000 series is projected to arrive in 2028, though some select RDNA 5 models might appear earlier.

AMD reportedly plans to release a specific RDNA 5 GPU, currently codenamed AT2, throughout 2027. It remains unclear whether this model will serve as a new flagship design or a mid-range to low-end SKU to initiate the product line.

The status of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-Series SUPER refresh remains uncertain due to current DRAM scarcity. While some industry observers suggest the launch is canceled, others view it as a potential stopgap before the Rubin series arrives.
