Planfix has introduced a new branching feature for its automation scenarios, allowing users to define multiple conditional actions within a single workflow. Previously, users were required to create separate rules for each outcome triggered by the same event, such as processing order status changes.
The new functionality enables users to set a single trigger and define alternative actions based on specific conditions. The system evaluates these conditions in real time to execute the appropriate operation. This approach consolidates logic that previously required fragmented rules into a unified scenario.
Branching is now available across various system components, including automated scenarios, buttons, email processing rules, and incoming webhooks or HTTP requests. This is particularly useful for external integrations, where a single URL can now handle diverse tasks like deal creation, payment logging, or returns.
By centralizing business logic, the update simplifies the management and modification of complex workflows. Users can now view all conditions and operations in one place, reducing the time and resources needed to maintain or optimize business processes as requirements evolve.
